We’ve come a long way — our journey began more than 30 years ago.

1993
Over 30 years ago, the company Marc Trust was founded — a name that would later become Unicom Holding. From the very beginning, the company’s core activity was the import of fuel oil from CIS countries, serving thermal power plants and other industrial consumers across Romania.
1996 - 1999
The First Oil Terminals

Storage and transshipping terminals were built in Galați, Halmeu, Dornești, Teiuș, and Drobeta-Turnu Severin. Currently, we operate only the Halmeu terminal — with a storage capacity of 5,000 cubic meters — and the Dornești terminal — also with 5,000 cubic meters capacity.
1999
Bunkering

As part of its business development strategy, the company expanded into marine bunkering, initially supplying river navigation vessels in the Port of Galați, and by the year 2000, extending operations to sea-going vessels in the Port of Constanța.
2007
Wholesale fuel

2007 marked a turning point in our core business. With Romania’s accession to the EU, the use of fuel oil with sulfur content above 1% was banned, prompting a major shift in Unicom Holding’s operations.

We became one of the first importers of diesel fuel in Romania and transitioned into a wholesale trader of excisable products. Today, we have contracts with all domestic fuel producers as well as major international traders operating in Romania.
2011
Fuel cards

We have become one of the largest fuel card providers for gas station networks in Romania, with a portfolio of over 500 clients and thousands of transactions processed daily.
2011
NOVO by Unicom Holding

We have also built our own small network of “NOVO” gas stations, which currently includes 7 locations, starting with the one in Drobeta Turnu Severin.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 5, paragraph (1), point (a) of Regulation (EU) 2017/2177, this information must be included in the network reference document via a link to a website (either their own site or a common portal) where the information is made available free of charge.

To support service operators and service providers in describing their installations and/or services, CFR SA has developed a model, presented and completed below, which reflects all the conditions of the aforementioned implementing regulation.
