Location & Infrastructure

Built by Unicom Group in 1999, the Unicom Halmeu Terminal serves as a vital connection between former CIS countries operating on wide-gauge railways and European countries using standard gauge.

Strategically located in Halmeu — the border station and railway customs entry point between Romania and Ukraine — the terminal offers direct rail access to both standard and wide-gauge networks, as well as road access for heavy vehicles.

It lies approximately 150 km from the A2 (Bucharest–Borș) highway and just 40 km from the future M3 motorway, which will link the Romanian and Hungarian highway systems.

Operațiuni:
  • Transbordarea produselor petroliere din vagoane cisternă cu ecartament standard în vagoane cu ecartament larg și invers;
  • Descărcarea/încărcarea vagoanelor cisternă cu ecartament standard/larg în/din rezervoare de depozitare;
  • Rată de transbordare: aprox. 1.000 t/24 ore;
  • Încărcarea camioanelor; rată de încărcare: aprox. 24 camioane/24 ore.
Operațiuni:

Rezervor pentru ulei vegetal, capacitate: 7.000 m³

Două rezervoare pentru motorină, capacitate: 13.000 m³ fiecare

Linie feroviară ecartament normal: 238 m, front operare: 100 m (aprox. 12 vagoane)

A. Transbordarea cerealelor cu sistem mobil RVM180:

- Descărcarea cerealelor din vagoane în camioane/vagoane
- Lungimea utilă a liniei cu ecartament standard: 90 m
- Front operațional: aprox. 6 vagoane
- Rată de transbordare: 1.100 t (16 vagoane)/24 ore

B. Transbordarea cerealelor cu melcuri mobile EMD:
- Lungimea utilă a liniei cu ecartament standard: 15 m
- Front operațional: aprox. 1 vagon
- Lungimea utilă a liniei cu ecartament larg: 15 m
- Front operațional: aprox. 1 vagon
- Rată de transbordare: 700 t (10 vagoane)/24 ore

C. Transbordarea cerealelor prin buncăr cu elevator fix și bandă transportoare de 15 m:
- Descărcarea cerealelor din vagoane cu ecartament larg în camioane
- Lungimea utilă a liniei cu ecartament larg: 15 m
- Front operațional: aprox. 1 vagon
- Rată de transbordare: 1.200 t (16 vagoane)/24 ore

D. Transbordarea cerealelor într-un depozit acoperit:
- Stocarea cerealelor în depozite acoperiteLungimea frontului operațional: 4 vagoane, dintre care unul poziționat în zona acoperită
- Rată de transbordare: 1.100 t (16 vagoane)/24 ore
- Capacitate de stocare: 560 t (8 vagoane)
